Because together we are stronger
Fundraise
There are lots of ways you can fundraise to support our work from cake sales to marathons, from art exhibitions to talent contests. If you want to do it we’re here to help.
We’re registered with Give as you Live Donate where you can easily set up a fundraising page for people to sponsor you in whatever you choose to do. If you’re stuck for ideas, you can always contact Lorraine for advice or download our handy fundraising pack (coming soon) so you can get started straight away.
Volunteer
A well planned volunteer trip in Malawi can be a life changing experience, not only for you, but also for the lives you touch and the communities you work with. We have hosted numerous groups of volunteers from school groups to business groups over the years and they provide a fantastic opportunity to work alongside members our team and communities and have a direct impact. You’ll have the opportunity to be involved in a tailor made project as well have some time to spend with the local communities and see the sights.
Our volunteer programs were put on hold whilst we recovered from the wider impacts of Covid-19. We are now in the process of getting them up and running again. Whether you are a school, business, group of friends or an individual, if you would like to find out more then please email Mike at mike@joshuainmalawi.org.uk

Rotary Clubs
We have had a long standing relationship with a number of Rotary Clubs across the UK and beyond, whom over the years have helped make a real difference in the lives of thousands of people living across the Pensulo district of Malawi.
Projects they have contributed to, and in some cases been the sole driving force of, have included the building of a lifesaving road bridge, the construction of a Maize Mill, getting electricity to the Joshua Clinic, building a lifesaving footbridge, a water tank and much much more.
If you would like one of the Joshua Team to come and talk at your club about our work, just drop Lorraine a line on lorraine@joshuainmalawi.org.uk

Churches
We’ve been delighted to work closely with a number of churches over several years, including St Mary Magdalen Church in Tilehurst and Holy Trinity Church in Wimbledon. As a small charity, we’re able to provide regular personal feedback from our projects as they develop and contact with project staff and our trustees which helps greater understanding of our work.
We’re also happy to help support fundraising and charitable giving in churches. Our church supporters hold Lent lunches, carol singing, harvest collections, concerts and coffee mornings.
f you are a church or church group looking to make a big impact with a small charity then we would love to hear from you – email Lorraine on lorraine@joshuainmalawi.org.uk to find out more.

Joshua is proud to have worked with students and teachers from all over the UK and US. Groups of students have fundraised for Joshua – raising thousands of pounds in the process and had a great time doing it.
We are happy to give talks and presentations to schools about our work. If you would like to get your school involved with Joshua please contact Mike on mike@joshuainmalawi.org.uk to find out more.
We have worked with volunteer groups from schools across the UK and US, who have greatly contributed towards our work, whilst having a meaningful volunteer experience.
