Joshua is proud to have worked with students and teachers from all over the UK and US. Groups of students have fundraised for Joshua – raising thousands of pounds and having a great time doing it.
We are happy to give talks and presentations to schools about our work. If you would like to get your school involved with Joshua please contact Sarah on [email protected] to find out more.
School volunteer groups
We have worked with volunteer groups from schools across the UK and US, who have greatly contributed towards our work, whilst having a meaningful volunteer experience.
For example, students and teachers from Hurstpierpoint College (pictured right) in Sussex have helped transform the lives of hundreds, if not thousands of children living in and around the rural village of Chilangani, in Malawi with fundraising and visits from 2009-2018. Students from Tonbridge Grammar School have visited Malawi several times between 2013-2018, building an assembly hall, latrines in secondary schools and a community-based childcare centre in Masu village.
If your school would be interested in organising a group volunteering trip out to our projects in Malawi please see contact our partner organisation Inspire Worldwide (www.inspire-worldwide.com) for further information.
