Tonbridge Fashion show 2014Fundraising

Joshua is proud to have worked with students and teachers from all over the UK and US.  Groups of students have fundraised for Joshua – raising thousands of pounds and having a great time doing it.

In January 2014 Maria Khotin and fellow students at Tonbridge Grammar raised over £1,200 for Joshua by organising an incredible evening of Art, Music and Fashion (pictured right). You can read more about this incredible evening on our blog.

We are happy to give talks and presentations to schools about our work. If you would like to get your school involved with Joshua please contact Heather Deaville on [email protected] to find out more.

Volunteer groups

We have worked with volunteer groups from schools across the UK and US, who have greatly contributed towards our work, whilst having a meaningful volunteer experience.

Hurstpierpoint volunteersSince 2009 students and teachers from Hurstpierpoint College (pictured right) in Sussex have helped transform the lives of hundreds, if not thousands of children living in and around the rural village of Chilangani, in Malawi. Read more about their incredible efforts here.

Since 2013 students from Tonbridge Grammar have help build an Assembly Hall at the Joshua Secondary School and this summer three teams of volunteers are building a school in the rural village of Manyenje. You can read about their incredible experience on our blog.

If your school would be interested in organising a group volunteering trip out to our projects in Malawi please see contact our partner organisation Inspire Worldwide for further information.

Thank you Elmhurst School

Joshua has been the lucky recipient of countless donations from Elmhurst School for over a decade now and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff, students and parents for their incredible loyalty and support.

Most recently one of Elmhurst’s Teachers  ran a marathon for Joshua, raising over £800. Combined with Carol Concerts, Harvest Festivals and all manner of events Elmhurst have made a huge impact on the lives of the vulnerable people we support. I am delighted to let you know that their latest donation of over £4,000 will help us complete the Assembly Hall at Joshua Secondary School. THANK YOU Elmhurst.
